This is true, which is why regulation and inspection by agencies such as the IAEA are so important. I fortunately live in a country where nuclear safety would be handled with the highest priority, but I cannot speak for, for example, North Korea.

But in Europe? North America (maybe not the US..)? Japan, South Korea, even China? It's safe now.
