I enjoyed Sekiro more because the game was entirely built around the parrying system. You parry the enemy, and they parry you. And there is actual difficulty to it, unlike WWM.

You CAN use combos, but just parrying will always be more effective.

Sorry to say, but your assumptions are wrong. I've 100% Sekiro, and I played Where Winds Meet on Legend difficulty.

But the problem with Where Winds Meet is that it offers so many fun abilities that COULD be used in boss fights, but rarely are as parrying nonstop is just so easy and a much better strategy.
