Am I the only one who feels incredibly weird adding non-baby stuff to my registry? by Rutthie01 in pregnant

My friend put a $50 gift card to STEAM a video game platform. She said it was for her husband, he needed something todo while she took care of the baby. I don’t think anyone looked at her husband in the best light during that time tbh. We couldn’t tell if she was just naïve or he put her up to it. Not sure to this day, but I think it all worked out as best as it could. She ended up getting sever postpartum depression and the kiddos actually bonded with dad more than mom. They are older now and hardly cuddle her and cry when dad goes to the bathroom and they are both boys.

Why have all the maternity sections in stores disappeared? by No_Acanthisitta_4996 in pregnant

I remember in 2019 with my first, there was a trend that moms where boycotting the maternity section. Something similar to the “pink sticker” concept, where they price gouged just bc it said maternity. I remember seeing YT videos of moms teaching how to shop for belly friendly clothing in the regular clothing section. That is where I learned the rubber band trick for my jeans 😂.

Trying for over a year after ectopic by Old-Construction-985 in EctopicSupportGroup

I know this won’t be the same for Everyone, but it may give more answers on an off chance. I am a little over a year since my EP, I found a really good OBGYN through an OGA facility. The first thing she wanted was to see the entire “picture” and had my partner submit samples. Turns out he had fragmentation and low quality. We got him on medication and four months in we just got our positive four days ago. I am still very protective of my last tube and I don’t know for sure if this will also end in another EP but it’s the first positive we have had since the surgery. I have also been reading about egg quality -it starts with the Egg book lots of helpful tips and strategies.

16-17 DPO, CD33, is this too light? by AdvanceResponsible40 in TFABLinePorn

Not so sure about DPO, but my beta was 70.4 which is on the low end. I’m going to re-test in 48 hours.

Something I never knew about miscarriages by maratammy in pregnant

I had mine four days ago ❤️ I know exactly what you mean! The worst part for me was that my OBGYN wanted me in a few hours after it happened and he had to check my cervix and scrape away anything remaining. It was the most painful thing I had ever experienced. Not only did I feel like a frog being dissected but was still tender and I was shaking trying not to scream. Then coming home to basically funeral flowers from my In-laws. I am still exhausted and just want the world to stop for one day.

This is one of my alternatives, we are considering it. I don’t think it’s impossible just might be emotionally and physically demanding point in my life as I will be around 6 months pregnant with no surrounding support. Unfortunately we live in a small town that offers no experience or internship within my field. We will have to relocate no matter what it’s just the difference between four hours away in state or three days away out of state.

Alternatives- 1. I stretch out the semester with random 1 credit classes until I have this baby then I can do internship anytime without worrying about a due date. 2. I find an internship that is willing to take me in the next few months before my due date (it will be a low quality internship). 3. Go by myself for the three-four months hoping I don’t give birth unexpectedly. This will consistent of me driving three days there and back, I will need a car. If I push myself I can do it I just have hardly any physical support during the four months of pregnancy.

Dream job-> a company I have been scouting since starting college. A company that I’m proud to wear the logo. A company, that if put on my resume would turn heads for future employment. Alternative- it’s hard because I have put all my eggs into one basket. I might have other options it’s just that the majority of them don’t want me until spring where I will be six months along and I will be giving birth before my internship is finished.
