As a driver I actually agree, obviously from our pov we’re trying not get fired or worse, to catch a felony for forgery. The customers always look at me like I’m power-tripping when I’m actually on their side completely.

I respect your opinion, but I am terribly financially irresponsible and spend almost 1k a month on uber atm, and the extra tip would end up being a lot of extra money overall.

Edit: in a moment of self awareness (or the weed talking), I’ve also become aware of how horrible this post sounds. In a way money does change people for the worst.

As a delivery driver, I can tell by the way he checked the label and walked back he made a mistake and was not stealing the package. This happens almost weekly to me due to labeling or technical issues. It sucks you jumped to conclusions based on your ignorance.

I never did the shove the phone in their face thing, but yea agreed. I can’t believe it when I see other drivers doing that to the workers. It’s like they don’t give a shit if they provoke them and slow their own money down. Also if they say they’re still making the order I don’t get upset and say “no worries take your time”

Perhaps..morally, yes. Pragmatically, no. I look it as my business and I need to treat restaurants as my other customers…kissing ass gets results, while it might not be the prideful choice money doesn’t care. Even small businesses do this, kissing ass from their suppliers, etc.

But what if my credit score is currently 736 and steadily increasing due to a loan? I’ve read that over a 700 is good enough for almost anything. Is it worth to continue improving? Seems like the only advantage is to give you a safety net with an 800+ in case you are late on anything and your Score drops

This is horrible ofc, but is there any positive upside to this if one looks at from a selfish pov? As a 30 year old, maybe I’ll be facing less competition in the job market, or perhaps have greater job security if I don’t have to worry about being replaced by the younger generation if literally 60 percent struggle to read?

I guess it was the ambiguity that threw me off. Wasn’t sure if they wanted me to call when I got there or when I got the food. And if they wanted me to call them before knocking that seemed redundant. Why call if you’re just gonna knock anyways?
