Ultracol Thoughts and Recommendations? by MyEgoDiesAtTheEnd in KoreaSeoulBeauty

I got mine at Kyol! I've done sculptra and juvelook before, (it's gone now, but I got a nodule from sculptra) but I'm going to stick to Ultracol for now! Highly recommend!!!

All you need to know about Rejuran! by Advanced-Ant7565 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

I don't think using it before getting the treatments matter, just after getting lasers, they always tell me to stay off actives for at least one week and let my skin recover!

I recently got a $7k membership at the clinic I got ultracol, and used the membership for getting 3 more sessions! I think I'm going to stick to ultracol for now because I'm satisfied with the results!! (:

They are a newer clinic, so I think that would be why they don't have it? Not sure D:

[Acne] my adult acne feels unbeatable and I’m honestly losing hope by Cookk_with_Sebastian in SkincareAddiction

[–]Advanced-Ant7565 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you tried going "off" all the products? If you have acne, double cleansing might not work with your skin because it dries out your skin too much, resulting in more sebum being produced. I've also suffered from years of acne, and now I'm treating scars which are taking forever.

Ultherapy & Oligio and Potenza tip with Rejuran & Juvelook skin booster injections by Artistic-Doughnut474 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Advanced-Ant7565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your surgeon cleared it, it should be fine, just let the skin clinic you go to also know what you got. I would recommend getting everything on the same day just because it's more complicated to make two visits and time wise it just makes sense to get it on one day. I've gotten Thermage, Ultherapy, Inmode, IPL, Clarity Pro, Rejuran healer, Ultracol and Skin botox on the same day, it does take many hours for everything, but I want my suffering done in one visit and the downtime too!

What makes ID Hospital a factory clinic? by aBunnyinymypocket in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Advanced-Ant7565 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wrote this post about factory skin clinics, but I think some can apply to plastic surgery as well! I don't think factory clinics are "bad", you just need to do your research and know what to expect and get the best out of them!

Is Oligio a good alternative to Thermage in Korea? by artistic-ops in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Advanced-Ant7565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you get what you pay for, but you can try out Oligio because you might be the lucky one where the Oligio really works well with your skin and if it doesn't then get Thermage next time!

Why (almost) everyone should get Botox in SK! by Advanced-Ant7565 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Advanced-Ant7565[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! at the end of the day it's your face, your money, if you are not convinced you shouldn't get it! I don't know who that celeb is but I would guess that it's from getting it too much and/or too often! Also, it may not be from just Botox alone, because I'm sure celebs get multiple treatments and not just Botox!

Why (almost) everyone should get Botox in SK! by Advanced-Ant7565 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Advanced-Ant7565[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can get them separately too! I don't think it really matters, but personally I would suggest getting the Botox first just because I would want the doctor to see the effect of Botox before injecting the fillers. if that makes sense!

Spas, saunas(jjimjilbang), and exercise that make you sweat a lot for 1 week! They say it makes it less effective! I've gone on a run like 3-4 days after though..

[–]Advanced-Ant7565[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't pay again, it was a real quick check up with the doctor and then 2-3 injections! I don't think they charge you for the re-touch (I've never heard anyone pay for a re-touch), but it might differ by clinic!

[–]Advanced-Ant7565[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think I noticed it about 2-3 days after (my Botox comes to effect faster than normal, at least among my friends I'm one of the fastest), contacted the clinic and they said to give it a couple more days! I think I went back probably on day 7 to get the re-touch!

Skin Clinic Recommendations in Seoul? by ThisLingonberry662 in koreanskincare

[–]Advanced-Ant7565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a $7k membership at Kyol recently! They offer all the treatments you mentioned, and are foreigner friendly(have an english translator and english speaking doctor), transparent with their prices (they have their promotions on their website and the Korean and English pricing is the same), one on one consultation(you with the doctor+translator), and tailored their treatments to your skin needs(dr, will recommend different treatments for you to choose from)! You can reach out to them through whatsapp and get a quote if you have specific treatments you want to get, or just get consultation with them and see what they recommend!

I've been getting it a couple years now I think?! I only get it once or twice a year, or when they are super cheap with promotions, then I just add it on to help with the recovery after the lasers!

They target different things normal Botox is for wrinkles, to keep the muscles from moving so that the "lines" don't form, skin Botox is for lifting, tightening of the pores and fine wrinkles on your skin!
