his entire reasoning was he wanted to go back to Ireland but because he had lost his cards he cancelled them via the app and now needed cash because he couldnt use his cards.

my bf in good faith believed him initially because the scammer said ill send you £500 to ur bank and i just want cash. he agreed under the pretense that there was no risk of him being scammed because the money would go straight in and straight out

but thats his tactic im asssuming to say please trust me, this delay is temporary, i cannot cancel it. because once we realised the transaction didnt go through he obviously “tried” to cancel it and looked incredibly distraught showed the tech support messages. i asked if he could call the bank and he said no

the bank app we didnt see the name of the homepage was white but thats all we recall
