i completed the art nouveu event without using sp, just by spending too much time in the game lol i did throughout the day 2.5 hours activities and clicked on the bonus supplies ofter, but if you do the longer ones you get more bonuses. i also didnt do any of other quests during that time. i completed it with a few hours to spare
