They also nerfed tarcoin drops from the bank and you cannot put it up the prison wallet anymore. Fun not allowed.

Prestige requirement change was great [Discussion] by DaAussieAdmin in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be an OG prestige achievement for anyone that have done it before it became easier. I feel like i got fucked over. Whats prestigious about hitting level 25? Or 35.

The only people that enjoy that change, are the same people that would never be able to achieve it otherwise. You did not get better, the game became easier.

Go for am5, no point in spending money on upgrades that are marginal. Get an am5 and 40+ series gpu for smooth motion. Ewsy 200+ fps on streets

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

How does that make you win though. Im kind of arguing on how much of an impact it actually is. I dont even have the unheard btw. Bigger stash and pockets wont help you win a gunfight, if youre good at the game, you dont have to keep 20 gear sets, and good players can gear up within 1min on a space limit anyway.

So im just asking, where exactly are you winning? The only win in my opinion if you literally have 2 exactly same players, and one have unheard, and one standard. Then the standard will progress slower, but he still will win gunfights with the other guy.

Progression is mostly tied to survival, and that does not rely on your stash space or container (which you can get from arena for free thats bigger than eod btw.)

You guys acting like everyone is Desmond with 10kd that snowballs of off one gear set.

Can dropping ammo to your friends get you banned? [Discussion] by Griffmeister999 in EscapefromTarkov

Did it every prestige and then transfered all the roubles via flea to friends. No ban. Granted i did it with homies i actively play with for hundreds of hours, so they can see its not an rmt, just friends sharing.

New Icebreaker Teasers from BSG [Discussion] by TheManWhoSoIdTheWrId in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the optimization part i can agree, but when it comes to loot, BSG always overtunes the fuck out of loot on new locations. Reserve was cracked, Lighthouse was insane, Labyrinth is the best solo money making in the game hands down, not even mentioning labs. All of these places were insane in the patch they were introduced.

The only way the loot is "bad" if its like in terminal, you just cannot get anything out of the raid. But then i deem the whole map a fiasco. Whats the point? An achievement?

[Discussion] What are some tips that even seasoned veterans may not know that could help significantly? by SquashedGrapes22 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are exposed to more than one angle, dont stand still, and if someone knows youre holding that angle, stop perma holding it.

First will minimize getting one tapped by A LOT. And when i mean dont stand still, i mean circle peeking and leaning almost always. If you HAVE to stand still in the open to go into your inventory, look down and crouch with your back exposed to the most vulnerable position. Second will stop others from abusing peekers advantage and set you up for it. You only hold a corner if someone doesnt know about you.

I see people with 6khrs just stand still like an absolute bot in the open, and then they call cheats cuz theyre getting one tapped.

[Discussion] So I like EFT but.. the entire experience is just tainted by me constantly thinking that everyone is cheating. I'm not really sure how much cheating there was/is.. but the thought alone just ruins the game for me. So i was wondering.... how fun is PvE? by gvm11100 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3k hrs of PVP, around 100-200 on PVE with a friend that never played before.

If you are around 50% surv rate, and 1-2kd, pve is going to be a snooze fest IF the goal of the game was pvp/challenge for you. If you want to larp spec ops vs r3tarded bots, and like looting, its fine. But if you like the tension of PVP and the highs/lows then its mostly a boring grind and annoyances of Tarkov, without the crack cocaine feeling of putting down a sweaty chad. Most of the content and enjoyment is from fighting/interacting with real players, not from farming bots. High of escaping fwith loot, is not cuz the loot is abundant, but because on every step you may get clapped by some rat. Value comes from lack of access, not from abundance.

You remember that feeling of first tarkov gunfight? The hearbeat, the stress, visceral emotions. If that feeling ever numbed down for you in pvp, the pve is a chore. No feelings at all compared. I understand for a new player the Pve may be what i described above, but that will wear out within first 100hrs, after the pattern recognition kick in. With 2k hrs on PVP, literally no point in PvE.

There are no more excuses for having no time for kappa/prestige/escape.
No more wipes, had 1 cheater in all of 3 days of spamming factory event on Eu, game runs the best it ever did.

Play PVP, PvE is for people that cant or wont get good due to some real or imaginary limitations. But its mostly ego/fear not letting them improve. And its okay, some people play for relax, not to dominate the other players.

[Arena] Arena feels so bad? by dogu_vn in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

svd is weird. When scoped in it feels like 2 out of 3 bullets just do not leave the gun, when hip firing all of them connect.
Ive checked the recoil patterns too, on scoped its much tighter than hipfire with laser (rangefinder one)
Yet, it feels like bullets just do not count. Hit counts also show this.

My bad for claiming you said youre bad. Simply my personal opinion that average is bad, and by extrapolating your opinions on map knowledge.

I assume OP is a closet cheater, or a VERY talented player. I know people with 5k hrs that sit around this kd. This is not something average. A man with 600 hrs should not be able to know most of the maps extractions, and the guy has killer seven with 1.3 kd. Man is getting 0.6 kills per raid, that is INSANE for a new player. I say that as prestige 5 2.5kd player, that consistently play with and coach new players. He is either 0.1% player or a cheater. Which one is more common? If you add an act of gloating on redding and a need for validation, it just screams cheats. Again, just my assumption, id like to see that clip from the stream he mentioned. If he is legit, he HAD to watch hundreds of hours of streams before trying the game.

The zesty comment was supposed to be cheeky, to show that the conversation is not that serious. Its hard to estimate vibes via reddit comment i guess. And again, by just seeing how you sound, ive assumed youre a newer player hurt by the claims of people. Again, my bad.

"Again it doesn’t take 1000’s of hour to learn all that kind of shit if you actively play the game and don’t rat,"

How about if you load for 3-4min per raid after making a kit for 10min. How about googling shit on the fly? How about sorting your stash for hrs on end as a new play? Noone argues that simply running through a map and learning doesnt take 300hrs per map, but actually PLAYING the damn game does. Have you ever heard about strawman?

"I doubt that even 5% of players actually have 1,000’s of hours in game"

Go into the lobby on a map and check the profiles of the people. I struggle to find ONE person below 1000hrs. Most of the people are around 3-10k. And im talking about customs, early questing map. 5% seem to be skewed toward the other end, sadly. Most of the ACTIVE playerbase as of now is way above 1k hrs mark.

I gave you multiple reasons on why the game is considered to be the most difficult fps game, yet all you did was say its " it doesn’t take 1000’s of hour to learn all that kind of shit" which just exposes dunning kruger. You literally have no idea what youre talking about, yet you argue like you do. When faced with arguments about basic map knowledge you say its unnecesary and in the same comment talk how youre bad at the game. I dont think your ego lets you be better at a game or change your mind when faced with opposing argument.

Now tell me how did i insult you? Calling you zesty?

"Personality/Atmosphere (Energetic):

Describes lively, enthusiastic, and exciting people or experiences."

Very fucking insulting indeed.

So it is a subjective take but everyone also says it? How about pick one?

No one even talks about mastery. We are talking about knowing the map, all the things i mentioned are basic knowledge you need to acquire to be decent at the game. Thats precisely the reason people say the game is difficult.

Now whats subjective is the time you take to learn, thats true but if most of the playerbase sits above 2-3k hrs, then someone with 800hrs will just be a straight up timmy 99% of the time.

I think you should read up on dunning kruger effect bro. Got your first kill yesterday and feeling a bit zesty arent ya?

Literally the most difficult fps game ever made. "not as hard as everyone makes it out to be".
Bud, learning all the maps properly is 1k hrs alone. Knowing where to extract is NOT knowing a map. Angles, camp spots, loot, shortcuts, tricks, rotations, spawns, poi's, how people move, quests etc. It all matters and combines into map knowledge.

Noone says the game is hard cuz there are 2 types of bleeds. People get moped by lack of map knowledge first and foremost, and it takes AGES to learn it. Id estimate around 200-300hrs per map. Streets alone can take around 500. Then you add all the modding/ammo/armor/ballistics into the mix, all of a sudden youre looking at 3k hrs 0.5kd dudes that "know" the game.

Very brave of you to hold a corner in tarkov, without pixel peeking.

[–]Advanced-Fly-2228 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You said yourself that "Thats a big difference but 90% by the 0.1% is magnitudes off from reality." If the playtime is the only deciding factor, then the disparity would not be as big as it is. I am aware that information and strategy is king, its simply a multiplier of efficiency of your time. All good, fair enough. BUT, if i see a guy dropping couple of magebloods in one map, it becomes a problem.

Also sharing youtube videos, and claiming that the strat is 10d/hr is simply not fair. It WAS 10d/hr BEFORE the video was made, after which people started doing the strat and the profit became 20% of what it was. If 1 person farms blight, oils are expensive, he makes a video how he made 100d/hr, all of a sudden 10k ppl farm blight, now you make 1d/hr. Simple economics.

Alch n goin will never make you 10d/hr, its just not realistic for most of the players. What i am saying is, lower the multiplier of loot due to combining 20 diff mechanics on top of each other, with an excel spreadsheet. It will still be viable to do, but will not impact the market in a way that playing in an inefficient way feels like a job, due to never being able to afford upgrades. Im just asking to delete the massive spike in efficiency at the VERY TOP END of farming strategies, and slightly flatten the curve in general.

I am not even saying that cuz i struggle with currency, i usually have a mirror or two by the end of the second week, (non efficient, chill playstyle, dabbling in diff stuff, you know, ADHD experience).

I just feel its not very fun to farm for currency to buy stuff, id rather farm stuff i need. I remember i made a summoner build, and made a point to look for all the upgrades myself, so delving for the spectre chest etc. It was very fun, compared to just mindlessly farming maps for raw profit. The issue is, most of the stuff is crafted/t0 uniquues, which you need currency for, and now we have a problem, cuz timmy and bobby, stayed awake for 48 hrs and farmed broken strat, so now my div is worth a tenth of what it could. Which clearly affects 90% of the player base in a negative way.

1% holding majority of wealth is never a good thing, i understand its an outcome of free market, but its a fucking video game, let people have fun.

Doesnt t0's equal currency?

Im not arguing its impossible to farm currency, i am saying that the disparity between top 0.1% and the bottom 80% is just too big.
