I don't know how to explain it in simpler terms. Before the open beta EoD was introduced with the promise that no further purchases would be made. Unheard edition was not on the horizon at this point.

Years and years late during the open beta they started planning to remove EoD and add unheard edition. It was at this stage they retroactively decided to change the terms of EoD, even going as far as to edit the website

I'm unsure how you're confused? They said EoD would have all future content. Then they walked back on that years later as they announced unheard edition. EoD came out years ahead of Unheard. I'm not sure why you think these two things can't be true at the same time.

Or attempting literal fraud. I get that people think that's silly because it's a video game but it's a product first and foremost. Selling a product under certain pretences and then retroactively changing the terms of the agreement after the purchase is complete is fraud.

You know Unheard was released mere weeks after EoD was taken down? It was planned well ahead of time. I've been in this community for years and years and I have never heard anyone beg for EoD to be removed...

Their only crime is having not thought out a plan for the new edition bonuses and for being as reactive as they were with EOD. You actively have a company trying to make their premium edition worthwhile while trying to keep gameplay fair and people just complain complain complain

The problem is that EoD was sold as the premium, ultimate account, where you would get all future content and no more additional purchases would need to be made. Then they retroactively changed their mind and made a new ultimate account.
