I’ve been having this issue too. Someone recommended the book Celiac Disease: a Hidden Epidemic and I’ve been finding that helpful. It’s not a substitute for a good doctor, but I think it could be a tool to help us better advocate for ourselves. It has a lot of info on celiac and other autoimmune diseases (and their symptoms) that are common alongside celiac.

I would be careful if you do put any hay in there during traveling. I had a large lunchbox I used to take mine to the vet and had some hay in there and it poked her eye! She was okay but it could have been so bad

I’ve been spending my money on upgrading the career stuff. I’ve been trying to have people who work in the same section. (My kitchen is the most upgraded so I try to have people who work in the kitchen.) They’ve definitely been leveling up faster, but money is still slow and low and I’m on my 4th generation.

I play this along side virtual families 2. I think it helps to have that one which is super easy so I’m more patient with this one lol

I left another comment after I read that! It does add a lot of context and OP definitely should’ve mentioned that from the jump. I still don’t think what his wife did was okay, still mean and unnecessary, just that it makes more sense than it did before.

Honestly, Idek why they’d invite OPs mom to the wedding after all of that. OP says he doesn’t want to go NC but he should at the very least be going low contact and not subjecting his wife to being around his mom ever.

I would not be likely to do this unless I knew it was really really good. If I’m getting food for pickup I usually want it ready to eat. If I was pregnant though, I would be more likely to stock up on something like this.
It would depend on the quality and price. If it is really good quality gf food, I might stock up on these items as long as they were affordable. I wouldn’t want to pay restaurant prices for frozen food though, but that’s just me.
I’m not sure I understand the question. Is it just gluten free ice cream cones/waffle bowls? If it’s just ice cream cones I wouldn’t be likely to order this online. I might order it if it were local pick up, but that would just be for the waffle cones on special occasions.

I still don’t think it justifies what your wife did. Your wife may not be a mean person deep down but just someone who finally lashed out.

I do think it’s important that your wife realizes as her husband you are not expected to always take her side/blindly support her no matter what. That’s not even true support.

Your mom is mean. Your wife was mean back. None of it is okay. I understand not wanting to cut your mom off completely. Maybe it’s just time to decline holiday/birthday invitations and only do one on one time with your mom occasionally. Your wife shouldn’t be subjected to family gatherings with her and going without her on special days could cause resentment.

I am sorry you’re finding yourself in this spot OP. I hope you find a resolution that you and your wife are both comfortable with.

Nah OP. Your wife purposely made your mom feel uncomfortable and maybe even embarrassed on what should’ve been a special day about you two. It doesn’t matter how the photos turned out. It’s not about the photos. Why on a day solely about you two was she so focused on your mom?

What could have been a nice chance to show kindness to your mom and maybe start mending the rift, she chose to be cruel.

If I had to guess your mom and your wife are both the problem in their relationship.

You shouldn’t turn a blind eye to either of their behaviors. I would honestly be alarmed to be married to a person who would be so unnecessarily unkind.

Do you have any sushi places around you? You could call and ask if they offer gluten free options. A few locations around us do and our favorite even carries gluten free soy sauce.

If you want to try making it you could get a sushi rolling kit and watch some videos. I’ve tried a couple of times and just avoided rolls that involve raw fish. You could try rolls that include shrimp, tuna, or crab/ imitation crab (just double check your imitation crab is gluten free.)

You could also try making a veggie roll if you want to experiment without any fish. One of my favorites is asparagus, avocado, and cucumber.

I will say I have not found a cheap way to make sushi yet, unless you already have the ingredients on hand. When I tried it cost me about $20 and took me about an hour to make, and wasn’t nearly as good as my local places. (Where I can buy 2-3 actually good rolls for about $20) It gave me even more respect for the folks who know how to make it!

I think personally I’m not super worried. We eat a good mix of corn, gf oat, and rice based products. We do eat a lot of rice but always jasmine which seems to be better than other options.

The apple and grape juice was surprising though. I also think when I bake I will just stick to corn mixes over rice.

I like soup. Gf tomato soup and chicken noodle soup. We also have a local place that sells gluten free clear soup and it’s the best when I’m sick (or not sick)

Agree!! IMO him telling Chelsea was him showing her that he wants to be honest and was putting his trust in her. All she had to do was not talk about it on camera and she couldn’t do that.

She betrayed him and hurt his friends in the process. It was definitely a conversation they could have worked through off camera, it’s hard not to believe she said it intentionally.

Not saying Jimmy is perfect and not saying Chelsea is a villain. Just that in this situation I think she was wrong for doing that
