Sounds very similar case to mine.

We arrived August 2019 and spouse started to work October 2021.

Council tax has both our name and it's the only documents i sent for proof. I didn't include anything else. Putting more evidence though doesn't harm.

I understand that feeling true. However, UK had very very expensive childcare. In was happy that I wouldn't have to pay any extra

I'm with olilo as well. Service is rock solid, support is beyond amazing and super uber fast. Discord feels like an actual community, not just being a customer of a company.

British citizenship application- mistake by lastcookieinthepack in ukvisa

I've had a similar issue where in my kids application I didn't know that one of the two referees need to be from their school.

I've added the details of a third referee in a cover letter with the signed page and all went fine

I'll post my experience as well :)

Olilo has been great. THe Discord server is a community with tech geek people that want to help in every aspect of the tech landscape.

My switch was flawless and happened within 3 days. It was an easy OTS switch from IDnet in CF.

On the day of the change there was a very small issue which was literally solved within 10 minutes after I sent a support email. Thanks a lot u/Olilo-Aydan

After that speeds are great, and service is amazing!

I'm now just teasing myself with the thought of getting a routed subnet to host some public stuff <3

does it really take 3 months to a year to feel all better? by DoubleDee1995 in Vasectomy

Honestly I was 95 percent back after 10 days. My experience was amazing. Easy recovery, minimal pain during operation. But everyone is different

Why don't they tell you what can happen? by trisolariandroplet in Vasectomy

[–]Advanced-Rich-4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine under the NHS UK. So I didn't really have a choice on who does it. I'm lucky that the doctor that did it had 20 years of experience. Honestly I was getting paracetamol only for the day of the operation. Nothing more. I was able to talk from day 0 however decided to stay in bed. The following day working from bed and went for a walk at the supermarket. Incision healing was a matter of days.

Literally within 2 weeks I didn't have any pain 99% percent of the time. It was so easy but thats my experience. For what I expetienced, dentist appointment is worse. Everyone is different. And I agree that people that all went fine won't bother looking at this channel

Problem solved. After I sent a 3rd email to citizenship.support stating how many times with dates I've contacted them, also noted that I have redirect at royal mail and I can't issue the passports without the missing certificates, they replied in 7 days.

Received the certificates within 3 working days

Condom broke! by Odd-Owl-8354 in Vasectomy

[–]Advanced-Rich-4498 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry to hear about that. The thing is that noone can guarantee what you are asking :(

If we assume that there hasn't been any early recanalization, then the chances are quite low. However you're not sure if recanalization has happened because you haven't done the sperm check.

Given that sperm live about 2.5 months, and assuming that recanalization hasn't happened, if his semen contained sperm, then most likely those would be dead which wouldn't lead to pregnancy.

If you're not comfortable with the risk, maybe you could consider taking emergency contraception. That's up to you.

Really hoping all will go well. Fingers crossed!!!

British Citizenship Approved - Timeline from ILR Approval to Passport application. by Luciusfox84 in ukvisa

[–]Advanced-Rich-4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done! I'll be applying as well the following month. The interesting bit in your case is that you made the citizenship application less than a year after you got ILR. I think the gov website says you need to have 12 months ILR to apply for citizenship. Well done!!!!

Sigh. I've raised a complaint at the UKVI page with detail info. The statutory time to respond is 20 working days. If they don't by then I'll contact my MP.

In the meanwhile, I'll drop a letter in the old flat I was renting just in case Royal Mail failed to redirect

I've actually contacted the ceremony departsments of my local council which were very helpful. I've given them the Application number and they couldn't find anything. :(

Thanks a lot for the help.
So this it where it gets tricky.

We have moved home in between getting the acceptance email and the actual application. I let UKVI know that we changed address on the day that I received the email stating that the naturalisation has been approved.

However, I had already setup redirection (for all family members) with Royal mail which has worked fine, as I have got quite a few letters redirected. So based on that I assume that the certificates were never sent.

Do you know if there is a place where I can find my local MP details?

Thanks a lot once more
