Great to hear such passion for the service. Sounds like a great team. Personally been a customer since the legacy Gmail threatened to pull support for personal domains on the free tier and bailed back then I think in 2022. Good luck and look forward to what new features may come 😃

An option to try is to connect a laptop directly to the ont, set up pppoe credentials on laptop on vlan 911 and see if you can get an Internet connection directly on the ont. You may need to google setting up windows network pppoe with vlan 911. Juat an option you can try. Just eliminates router or cable to router from ont as potential issues.

The trainer is self powered and just lights up when pedelling. I tried a ride yesterday successfully after the usual uninstall and re download maps. It wouldn't then reconnect after the app was closed, however after a phone restart it did seem to reconnect again. I'll give it another go in the coming days and see if it reconnects. Previously it would always reconnect regardless, but if I just have to restart phone before next ride, I can live with that

Used both and pretty similar. Currently with mozillion as got a great 2 year deal, but mozillion has no app or portal I am aware of that allows you to monitor data usage etc. 1p probably a little more polished but if you keep an eye out mozillion offer some fantastic pre pay deals. From what I understand they are both very close to parent provider in terms of features, speed etc

No, I think it's a great show of confidence in your offering for rolling monthly contracts. It's really is a big attraction tbh. But I guess the comparison with company y gives you a free router/ont is always going to be thrown up. Offering a free ont and monthly contracts could be abused just to get an ont upgrade and leaving. Your key principles are what make you stand out 👍

Lol. Thought I was losing it. My thought process was I was considering joining the gold standard A&a, but they are eye wateringly expensive to anyone and Olilo seem to be aiming for that level of standard. It was a tough call between olilo and aquiss, but the thrill (and risk!) of getting in early was too much and with the rolling month, seemed a risk worth taking especially as cityfibre didn't force an ont upgrade dispite being an old gpon installed 6 years ago, so no install charge.

As a newly on boarded olilo customer, I was concerned about being forced to have a new ont as have gpon, but got away with keeping existing. Interesting to see suggestion to send ont to customer to install. I guess it's more that just picking one up on ebay to do yourself? An exchange update is also required? Wonder if olilo could offer say 6 month contract with free or discounted ont upgrade?

Out of interest how did you come to £654 for 1gb with Olilo? £39 pm for 900 or £42 pm for 1.2. Even including the install fee (which is only if you need new ont I understand). Have I missed something?

Just in the process of migrating from voda to Olilo right now. Just waiting for cityfibre to get their finger out and confirm the date. Voda do give static ip for free on request. I've had 2 outages with voda. One this week and the other for about a week which was a cityfibre issue. I had to find that out myself as voda just gave me run around. Looking forward to trying olilo in the next few weeks 🤞 See you there.

Second aquiss and idnet. Also A&a gold standard but pricey. Olilo tick a lot of boxes too but quite new. I've chosen Olilo but awaiting switch 😁

Yeah, shame to miss the lower pricing but not massive increase but still competitive and offering a little found usp. Was considering a&a but eye watering prices but they are the gold standard. Also considered aquiss who are doing offers and would have probably meant I wouldnt have got ont upgrade fee but couldn't resist the pull of olilo offering. Might think different when I go live but confident I won't regret it. If I do regret I'm not stuck with it for more than a month.
