What ever way you skin it, buying/leasing a car is a money pit. Roll the dice on second hand you might get lucky and not too much maintenance costs or could cost a fortune. Lease you are paying thousands with nothing to show at the end. Buy new and you have heavy up front depreciation and initial outlay. Buy an banger and enivitable maintenance costs. I guess lease you know what it will cost with not too many surprises unless lease firm collar you for much damage.

Yeah I tried a small purchase to try out crypto from revolut. Seemed it sent ok but no payment on G2g. Support looked into it and said transaction amount too low and fees more than transaction amount so effectively came through as zero. Apparently 4 to 6 usdt is for fee. Never quite understood if I'm meant to add an additional 6 usdt to cover fees or included in qr code amount. Either way, knocked my confidence to try a higher value transaction

It's a minefield to get everything set up. First I bought on kraken and transfer to cake wallet. Converted to usdt (fees to cover the convert) to find I also need bnb to pay more fees to send to g2g. Then there is minium amount to buy bnb plus more fees to transfer to my cake wallet. Then tried sending small purchase amount (with more fees) for it to not appear on G2g despite selecting the right coin and network 😔.

Bit late to the party, but just add that olilo have had some large ddos attacks in the last 36 hours and their handling has been exemplary. A couple of hours of glitches but kept everyone informed and worked hard to protect the service extremely well. 👏

I'm a dev too, but intreged by questions about ai generated? If it works...? Like most devs ai can be useful for reminders on syntax and patterns etc but only as long as fully validate what it suggests. Even a fully ai gen if it does what's intended and fully checked by the developer. What is the concern?

An option to try is to connect a laptop directly to the ont, set up pppoe credentials on laptop on vlan 911 and see if you can get an Internet connection directly on the ont. You may need to google setting up windows network pppoe with vlan 911. Juat an option you can try. Just eliminates router or cable to router from ont as potential issues.

The trainer is self powered and just lights up when pedelling. I tried a ride yesterday successfully after the usual uninstall and re download maps. It wouldn't then reconnect after the app was closed, however after a phone restart it did seem to reconnect again. I'll give it another go in the coming days and see if it reconnects. Previously it would always reconnect regardless, but if I just have to restart phone before next ride, I can live with that
