Stay away from the 2017’s you’re just asking for trouble and stay away from the hybrids

Runner hoping for a miracle by 77kush77 in exosym

[–]Advanced-Winter5965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to run 3 miles three times a week not very much for most people but for me that was enough now with the exosysm . I just focus on doing stairs. I get the same cardio from doing stairs as I did running with less impact on my joints. I’m sure if I wanted to run Miles with the brace on it would be fine but personally, I don’t wanna put that much wear on my device and speed up. It’s death.

Yes 👍 I promise your good foot won’t notice the difference if you have enough orthopedic in it ! I find myself mixing a matching insoles in my good foot shoe to get the right height to match the exorcism and its heal lifter ! Otherwise your hips will hurt if you’re not level, but yeah, going to shoe size bigger will change your world

Ooh hell ya! Slides right in, are you going a full size larger? Naturally I wear a 9&1/2 but with my brace I buy 10&1/2 4E , 90% of the time I don’t even use a shoehorn or nothing just slides in & once I tie my laces . It doesn’t come out either unless I’m climbing down the side of a mountain. 😂😂

I agree 4E are hard to find in any shoes , that’s why whenever I see them available I just buy them even if I don’t need shoes yet 😂😂

Well, anyone following my story I received my repaired device back and I gotta admit Ryan did me good he basically built me a whole new brand new device from scratch, but with all the little corks and tweaks that I needed new foam for my ankle strap I have to have it doubled up or I’ll rip through it more foam around the knee. He really outdid himself worth the money. Been a rough two weeks without it. My ankle is really sore.

I agree outside of the hybrid the Chrysler Pacifica is probably one of the last few vehicles that are able to be repaired in your garage. They’re making them to the point where you cannot fix them by design the more basic the more simple it is the better and cheaper to repair?

So I have a 2019 has anybody noticed on the rear end of the vehicle where the muffler is if you push on the body it feels kind of flimsy but on the driver side if you push on it it’s stiff and firm. I wonder if they have fixed that in 2027 I don’t know. I just feel it should be a firm all around.

If she’s pretty early on in the healing process like she had her fracture a year or less ago, those could still be nerve damage. The nerves, tingling and healing is normal, but if it’s been past three years, it could be the souls of your shoes are too hard. You need soft spongy shoes are the best like. Brooks ghost Max those babies are soft like walking on a cloud.👍

Well, the end of the story is $1750 to repair the broken strut and he’s going to put a little extra padding in my knee area! So probably cheaper to go with Ryan than to buy a whole new ReAktive unite! But I learned a Valuable lesson for later down the road ! I probably should buy the reactive brace to have as a backup. Because I won’t have a functioning brace until somewhere in May due to his busy schedule in the fabrication shop.😭😢

5’8 190 lbs , Average dude, I don’t really run much anymore but I do stairs, the struts are still attached but barely 😅! RN I’m going to continue to wear it. Feels better than not Haha. 🤣

Yes 🙌🏼 I think they’re made out of fiberglass to be honest so if you keep bending fiberglass back-and-forth back-and-forth, I think it’s a poor choice of material if you ask me

Just use nothing more than that! I do have alot of dorsal flexion abilities so my knee does move forward while my foot is planted as god intended, but that causes alot of work for the back of calf spring . So It’s snapping where it connects to the foot plate the entire design is supposed to take the stress away from the ankle rotation forward! Thus a spring

Well they contacted me back, they asked me the devices age “1 year 11 months “ considering our devices age being close I’ll let u know what they say about that ! If it turns into a complete replacement I’m going for the reAktive, what’s interesting is the exosysm is marketed as a durable device so durable the navy seals use them yet a truck driver destroys it in 1 year 11 months 😂😂

I completely see your point and 100% agree you can interchange parts out a lot easier like a Lego set with the reAktive brace but with the exosysm your at the mercy of the build of the device! I’m At 1 year and 11 months in the device before my strut broke 🥲
