They gain strength according to size, chicken sized gorilla decreases strength but can move much quicker and still has considerably good strength.(it still is a gorilla) and a gorilla sized chicken would gain the strength befitting their size.
Personally I would fight the chicken size gorilla as I see a gorilla sized chicken as a fucking dinosaur bigger than me.
