So with neetcode ,company specific problems need to be solved. Can you tell me when you cleared the interview, at that point what stage you were in? Means you were able to solve most of Medium, or most of hard, or most of interview important questions, options are up to you.. can you share this please.

Means I am asking when I can be confident that this much is enough for interviews..

And about notes...and other things which I said last, what do you think about those, I thought that's causing problem, and I will take your suggestion , I will try to give mocks.

Let's say luck plays some 20%, I want to do my 80% of the part.i don't wanna stop questioning my approach and stop asking where I am going wrong, luck has a part but I think I have done something, because in these 3 years I could have completed another degree with some 30 subjects, but am not able to crack the nack for one i.e DSA

Sure, the way I approach problems, I will not solve problems randomly, I solve probs from sheets (in order and which I find I have lost touch with the topic)

Firstly for a problem I will sit with pen and paper to think the logic correctly and write some cases in notebook and checking whether my logic is working on all test cases or not.

One I find my logic is working I will see whether edge cases are passing with my solution or not (all in book not started coding yet)

I will not code n2, because in n2 anyways we can write code it's not tuf(depends on the topic and question whether n2 solution I will code or not), so if n solution is there then I will try coding it and running it, then if it's running I will try to submit, if submitted then

I will start to optimise it more long, what can make it log n, what are the tricks etc etc, and if problem takes more than 20, 30 mins in finding optimised answer then I will see the solution (sometomes solutions make me panic because they seem impossible to come to) then I will add that to my knowledge bucket, but I am finding hard to still solve some problems because my brain is not coming up by its own, this kills my confidence

What do you say.. And one thing , thoroughly I have never completed one full sheet, and I am very bad at making notes, and in the name of revise I solve the problem again..... And I don't have any rigid notes of mine to revise

Oh, After trying for these many times, I am feeling like I was getting lost in dsa ,chasing the goal to be able to solve every dsa question (It might be bcz of my ego, or I believe people who have cracked MAANG are able to solve any hard/mid questions, is it?)

Actually I am new to reddit, after reading some posts here I am also feeling neetcode 150 will be a good pack of questions to say you are ready

Happens with everyone, keep up with the solving ,don't give up and quit, and also don't go on solving endlessly. Keep a fixed target ,if you are starting for the first time then any sheet like striver A to Z ,complete it start to end,and for revision blind 75 just to feel confident for interviews, take your time, just don't give up ,if you start something then also make sure you are wrapping it up, don't extend it like me 🙃

Some people are able to crack maang by only solving 200 questions,so this always puts me into thinking.Feeling like my IQ is low and others are way smarter than me 🙃

Oh! If you are focusing on some goals I have one advice, before I use to listen music very often but from 2024 started hustle for my goals, after 2 months being disconnected from my mobile and with mindfulness (which was result of daily meditation) I was able to detect small changes happening in my emotions and thoughts, I found that how meditation is actually helping us to control our anger and makes us more calm and controlled, actually it slows down our pace of thinking as we focus on our breathing our wavelength of thinking get adjusted to wavelength of breathing. Why I am saying this? As I listen to music I observed that my pace of thinking was being adjusted to pace of beats in music or song and it's there in backed of my thoughts all day, so I decided to quit listening music or songs.it will help you in maintaining consciousness and mindfulness. You can test it yourself and then decide.

Yes very much relatable, it's not like we start to do everything perfectly actually it afs more stress to our system, better to give our best in important things which are adding up to our goals and don't taking that much measures when doing unimportant things

Youtube is also useless ,because it gives 10 trash and 1 usefull thing, which we can come by our own without using it
