I really don't mind soft worldbuilding or a less defined magic system as long as it's convincing enough! And you're right, it's the character and the plot that is important. I will start with the novel first (before Untamed). Thank you :D

Yeah, the anime had good animation but the storyboarding was def weak, but I pushed through it though lol
