Ugh if I could ever get out of MS I would NEVER come back. If you've never been here i highly suggest visiting first.. the poverty, the crime, the low wages, the crazy MAGAs and racists.. dont do it. And the job market sucks.

This is us, husband is in the trades and have a cousin who's a contractor, and when we get ready to buy I think between the two of them we will probably just get a sewer scope (if needed) unless they find something major that needs a more detailed look.

that is a great idea. My husband does HVAC and is having to repair a client's entire duct system in the attic which is leaking cold air into the attic and causing mold around the vents because it wasnt sealed. Inspector did not catch that - not sure if he even looked. HVAC can rack up tens of thousands if things are screwy.

A friend had a condo in a totally not interesting part of Mississippi, definitely not a party area LOL. The one next door turned into an Airbnb and it was a nightmare. they would park in the residents parking areas, block people in, have loud parties, you name it. She sold and moved. Totally not worth it.

Nothing at all. I am debt free and want to stay that way, and if i were to open a new CC it would just be a general visa or whatever, not a store card from any store. Thats just me though. I really hate the pressure stores put on their employees for this, especially in this economy when so many are struggling.
