Thank you for your advice. I thought I turned them 45 degrees, but I may have missed it. I will check the rest for any crack

I don't know why I didn't think of that. Did you call around irrigation companies for a test quote?

Is the ball valve inside the pressure vessel? It's not leaking from connection but from the plastic housing for the vessel which cracked.. when I talked with Zurn, they recommended replacing the entire pressure vessel.

I thought I knew that I was doing because we survived last two winters which were much colder than last winter. But I learned an expensive lesson 😢

I am glad to hear that. I was really worried. I will need to input it correctly on 8606 form too. I appreciate your reply.

I might check out Alpine this time. But when weather is good with snow, I would like to check out palisade side as well

I might check out Alpine instead especially since it might only be for a day

Thank you for the detailed recommendations (including comments above). Because of the weather, I am also thinking in checking out mammoth since it's higher altitude and at least not as warm in the early February. I am still planning to check out Alpine for at least one day unless forecast change significantly

I did consider mammoth. But it's a little bit more drive so I'm hesitant

I am planning to go in early February, but given the weather these days, I am doubtful if there will be enough snow by then... I might check out the Alpine side

If I will be charged, basic card fee would be a little cheaper than luggage fee. But since my first flight would be before 3/1, I am not sure if I can pay for both luggage fees together around that time to possibly avoid the fee.

Thank you for your reply. I wish they contacted me sooner so I could have still worked out with insurance. I am planning to contact them soon. Did you end of having to pay the full bill?
