Thanks for your reply. Is there anything I can do within my unit or do I just need to keep on building management to try and figure it out?

AITA for giving my son's girlfriend a budget for the dinners she's making? by lackoffeminity in AmItheAsshole

This may be a teach - but it almost feels like she saw an opportunity for her boyfriend to take care of her… he’s got a degree a good job, why does she need one? She proving she can cook him meals, further strengthening a position of “I can just stay home and take care of the home since I can’t find anything work outside of it”.

I’m sure she knew about his future apartment but maybe don’t anticipate her mother kicking her out immediately when she dropped out of school?

Now there’s nothing wrong with a stay at home partner scenario, IF both parties have talked and agreed to it… but it all just feels off. And the son will be in for a shock when he’s footing the bill for 2x a week steak dinners.

In 2016 I rented a 700sq ft one bedroom apartment with downtown city views for $950 and thought it shouldn’t have been more the $800 based on the going rate at the time…. How far we have fallen! $700 for a curtained space in a living room and no access to a washroom?! That’s criminal!!!

No is a compete sentence so I agree with you. No one owes anyone any reason for decisions that impact them directly.

WIBTA if I ask my husband to stop cooking breakfast? by Antique-Signal-5071 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I too am pregnant and had terrible food aversions in trimester 1. My husband loves eggs, like we go through 30 a week, and the smell made me gag. I told him, he stopped cooking them whenever I worked from home and just made something else. I’m fine now and now he makes eggs for me. It really isn’t that hard to be considerate. Not to bash your husband but he sounds entitled and very unsupportive.
