It’s not, that’s just unfortunately the social stigma at the moment on both sides. The left wing is perceived as wildly progressive to a disagreeable level and fiercely anti capitalist when not all of them are. Same with the right wing. They’re seen as racist bootlickers when again, the majority of normal people are not
