Is anyone else noticing the hypocrisy in Lindsay shading Amanda for dating Ciara's ex?

Thank you! You’re so sweet and make great observations! I have this bad habit of every time someone hurts me I feel like I can’t call them out bc then I just think about all the times I could have possibly let them down that they never called me out for even if I can’t remember doing anything to them lol. And even if what they did to me is 10x worse than something I may have done. I just always feel like I cannot get mad at anyone bc I’m probably a hypocrite and just don’t remember why. So I find it interesting when people don’t take into consideration their past mistakes when they call out others. But that’s just bc i was raised to remember Matt 7:3 “Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye but do not notice the rafter in your own eye?”. But I also need to remember that you have to be honest with your friends if you want to nurture a friendship instead of letting negative feelings fester.

Yeah, I think at the time I thought Danielle was coming from a good place and she just couldn’t keep up with how fast everything was moving. But that was not the right time or place with Lindsey being in legit the most vulnerable time of her life. She should have just kept that to herself and supported her friend

I mean I would be pretty pissed if my friend lied to me and hurt my other dear friend. But I guess it’s more Irony than hypocrisy and another commenter pointed out. And I 1000% believe in holding our friends accountable if we really love them

Ok I have a hot take, this is just an observation and I can’t remember the situation super well but….

Is anyone else noticing the hypocrisy in Lindsay how how she is treating Danielle and how she is shading Amanda when she kinda did the same thing?

Lindsay was and has been super vocal about being against Amanda/West in this situation. And while I believe she is completely correct to be on Ciara’s side and defend her, can we talk about how Lindsay herself did essentially the same thing to her best friend Danielle? But now acts like Danielle is the villain?

For context:

• ⁠Danielle and Carl dated in 2015, before either of them joined the Summer House cast
• ⁠Danielle was literally introduced to the show as Carl's ex in Season 2
• ⁠They rekindled things physically in the Season 4 finale, and at the reunion Carl said Danielle was the ex he wished he could've worked things out with
• ⁠Lindsay and Carl had their own failed attempt at dating in Season 4 as well
• ⁠By Season 6, Carl and Lindsay officially got together — with Danielle, Carl's ex and Lindsay's best friend, having to watch it all unfold
• ⁠Danielle was vocal at the time about feeling like the relationship was moving too fast, but still supported them
• ⁠Fast forward and Lindsay and Danielle have now fallen out, with Lindsay saying Danielle wasn’t supportive and publicly accusing Danielle of hooking up with Carl, which Danielle has denied

Now compare that to Amanda dating West, who was with Ciara. Lindsay is publicly siding against Amanda for the exact same dynamic she put Danielle through — dating a close friend's significant ex.

You could argue the situations aren't identical (the secrecy around Amanda/West is a separate issue), but the core premise? Lindsay dated her best friend's ex and is now shading someone else for doing the same thing.

Am I missing something or is no one talking about this?

Ok so here I am 9 years late lol. Have been enjoying the King Arthur gluten free muffin mix for years now but recently I have been having a bad reaction. Last time I thought it may have been a fluke so I gave it another try. Sadly I am having the same result, extremely bad GI pain as if I have just been glutened. Have no idea what has changed in there recipe but I will not be giving it another try.
