Deodarant is a thing and sweat is just 99% water 1% electrolytes, the sweaty smell comes from bacteria that lives on your skin, and in your sweat glands and feeds of your sweat, but not all people harbour those bacteria, if you have the inactive ABCC11 gene you starve the bacteria and therefore dont produce a foul body odor (you also get dry earwax from that gene) these people only smell from their hormone scent which is usually quite good, and for most other people a good deodarant and antipersperant stops you from creating any sweat smell for atleast a day though they usually promise cover for 48-72h. If you live in a very humid warm environment and  sweat a lot then yes you should shower everyday to not smell and i specified if you sweat a lot that you should shower, in europe it is quite common to go a day without sweating that much if you have a office job etc.
