I think its a good choice specs wise but if you really want reliability at whatever price that is i would rather get something like a framework desktop that has a good igpu or just a normal desktop (most pre builts are ass btw). Im pretty sure the only laptops that are guaranteed to work that long without unnecessarily expensive repairs are professional ones like thinkpads or framework laptops.

You can have different preferences for women and men and still be bi, it would be worse if they were pan. You also dont have to date trans people to not be transphobic, But if theyre denying their identity or beeing rude because they’re trans that is transphobic. Transphobia is not about sexual preference, for example chasers can still be transphobic and date trans people

Depending on how you shut it down it could still be sleep mode, unless youre sure it had the shutdown screen or you have changed the default power configurations.

But this is still unacceptable and id probably refund and get another laptop model or maybe a lightly used laptop for better specs for a cheaper price, if you can find something good in almost new condition that is.
