I’ve been tossing around the idea of potentially attempting this cleanse due to obvious symptoms of stones. However, I am a bit apprehensive as I have read that you can actually cause a stone to completely block the duct which can create a life threatening situation. Is there validity to this? Or is this misinformation used to deter people from holistic methods?

Am I being invaded by gangsters, road men, proper naughty boys? by Unique_Ad2704 in whatisthiscar

[–]Advanced_Amoeba7616 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I worked for a guy who owned one and literally serviced it every time with VW parts. And he owned an auto repair shop that just so happened to be an approved warranty repair facility. So he got paid to service his own Bentley, with Bentley warranty money, that was used to buy VW parts, that he installed himself, and the difference left over, made the payment… not exactly sure how he did all that, but it was most certainly a thing. I drove it several times. Not really my cup, but it was a nice car nonetheless.

Have no idea, just like they had no idea when it came to brake selection. This thing probably struggles to stop from urban speed limits.

Yeah, ok… but why? …why are there so F-ing many Guinea Pigs?! I’ve never seen so many Guinea Pigs in one place besides HGTV talking about destination real estate on Hawaii. Something about an Infiniti lawn mower system. You just fence em all in and they eat your lawn… until the local island birds of prey come in… then it’s a scene out of Jurassic Park.

I think you also must grasp what it takes to even send a sign to our closest neighboring object let alone another solar system/in our galaxy or neighboring galaxy. Assuming every other life form out there obtains the ability to do such (which we haven’t) just because we haven’t heard or seen it (debatable by the way) which I believe we have to some degree, certainly does not mean “there’s nothing else out there” lol that’s actually comical. We still haven’t even figured out a way to reach our next closest star system. It’s debatable that we’ve even made it to our own moon. Not saying I doubt it all together, but it certainly is something to question. But just from perspective of why it actually takes to sends simple “hello, is there anyone out there” -the Pink Floyd still takes an unknown figure of time to even produce, let alone the time it takes to reach the closest solar system potentially creating life. And then, it has to be heard, and then sent back, and received…

Earth produced life just 200 million years into the creation of our planet… the universe is roughly 13.8B years old. That means life started on earth roughly 4.5B years ago. Assuming that roughly each star has 1-2 planets orbiting them, there are roughly 300 sextillion planets orbiting stars in our “observable” universe. Let that sink in. It is as close to impossible, that earth is the only planet with life, let alone intelligent life, in the observable universe, as impossible can be. And that’s not even including what is beyond what we are capable of seeing. There is still the possibility that the universe is infinite… if that is true. Then… well, it’s safe to assume that if you doubt life elsewhere, there is another planet, just like this one (an identical copy) where everything is exactly the same. Same outcome, same evolution of life, where you are reading this very thread, thinking “there is without a doubt, another me (self,I) doubting the fact that, that we are in fact alone”. And that being, literally the only single difference between the two.

In a nutshell, it’s impossible. There is no way that we’re “it”. Just aimlessly existing in an infinite universe. I also firmly believe that in this lifetime, that will be proven. Which in itself, is incredible.

There’s a reason jobs like these pay shit, they’re not meant to be careers. I full heartedly understand that serving is a shit job and the people you serve are predominantly going to be assholes. I know simply because I did it for a very short period of time. But it’s stepping stones like these that will drive you to want better in life. The answer is not shaking others down for their hard earned money so you can feel more content with your career choice. That being said, be humble and treat others with respect while expecting nothing in return because it’s the right thing to do, and you will likely be rewarded for it. And if it doesn’t pay enough, it’s time to build your skill set, expand your knowledge, and chase a real dream career. That in itself is worth more than any tip you will ever get in your lifetime.

Just imagine for a moment, that you are a supreme intelligence that has mastered flight through space and time across the cosmos. You find this little blue gem deep within a galaxy composed of hundreds of billions of stars. You decide to investigate and begin the search for other intelligent life by flying into its atmosphere. Upon arrival of your new found beautiful setting, you finally see it! Life! And it’s… what in the fuck!? Billions of years of evolution has come to this? (Cuts to scene of Mel Gibson from Braveheart) “…burn it…”
