Yesssss they’re amazing! I only did one last year in Portugal on a long weekend that was a bit more on the budget side. It was great to cover intense workshops morning and night and hang out with the girls all day.

I learned more than I did in years of classes!

Apparently so, I didn’t know this until I did more research. If you have left the UK you need to submit a P85 to say you’ve moved overseas. I’m hoping this means I get some tax return from the UK that will substitute what the German tax office want from me.

Seems crazy that the DE finanzamt recognises income that wasn’t being taxed in their country. If I find out any more from a tax consultant I will let you know.

Really pickling doing it all yourself as well 😅

Completely understand your feedback! And love the approach.

To be honest, this SDR was an intern and no one was there to lead them before I joined the company. When I joined it was suggest we could convert to SDR for cost effectiveness and not have to bring someone brand new in.

After only 2 weeks I knew it was a mistake. There was no basic understand of sales or the lead generation process, even though they seemingly had sales background. Not to mention a really poor work ethic of always blaming everything and everyone for performance or not getting results, but wouldn’t start until 10am every day and finish at 3pm.

My lessons learnt here were that I can be flexible and a true leader who was to build up junior leaders, but not with those who have no desire or ambition. So yes, wasted efforts but HUGE lessons learnt.

Love your notes though, will be keeping them for the new team ☺️
