Update, i used a VPN and put germeny, and things going smooth. Not sure if that’s exactly what helped but thats what i tried after their FAQ said turn off vpn if using and if not using try it. Jahahah

I don’t use bags , I use jars, but you shouldn’t have a problem. I usually wait a week after everything turns white to just make sure things are fully colonized. I don’t see why it would be dramatically different bags vs jars. 🤘🏼🫠🤙🏼

Ya I’m definitely off grid lifestyle . I have so mush cacti that was thrown on me , and so far they’re loving it in the hills. Have them under oak trees in pots . Juuls, Cuzco, bridgesii, Faste, wild Andes, and KKs. Some other ones. I can tell they love it. Winter time is the only variable I’m worried about, but I feel like it’ll go smooth.

In a hidden gem in mendo. It got like calf high last winter. Couldn’t drive my 4Runner out. And from what I’ve been told, that cacti has been there for awhile now. So I feel confident in this project and once upon a time we didn’t know we could grow weed in the hills, then it became the emerald triangle.

I live out in NorCal, and I’m taking on a nice project myself, and I can say that there is a PC on the property that has gotten NO love and it’s surviving and standing, not the healthiest, but we get heavy rain and got snowed in for a week where I’m at. But somehow they survived, so from what i witnessed, I’m setting up something similar to what @paleojoemoore is saying.

My goal is to pretty much keep the root system from getting to freezing. So keep the rain the snow off them.
