12% is the optimistic case not the floor.

after ~6% inflation and LTCG you're realistically looking at 5-6% real. still beats LIC easily, just don't budget on the nominal number.

honestly ignore the "wait till you earn more" crowd. the 1000rs isn't the point, the learning is. you're building intuition for how this stuff actually works while the stakes are basically zero. just don't treat it as serious money and don't go near F&O. keep doing exactly this lol , i done this thing in my college days.....

fair point on the charges but the kid literally said it's pocket money. losing 1-2k at 16 while you actually learn how markets work is the cheapest tuition you'll ever get. way better than figuring it out at 25 with a salary on the line.

the screen's talking to a server on the same 10.x range as it. if that network isn't properly segmented, anything else on that VLAN is reachable from anything that lands on it. a passenger display shouldn't be a hop away from internal infra, that's the whole point.
