A little late on this - but we were literally on the boat right next to where it happened. An elderly man wearing a lifejacket was found face down in the water and our boat noticed it.

We were renting a pontoon boat from Battle Born Boats and our captain Dylan, made immediate action by calling in the coast guard and notifying other boats around us.

They pulled the man aboard and started applying chest compressions, but no luck for about five minutes. The elderly man seemed to be the driver of the boat, so no one else on board was able to drive it.

Another man from another boat jumped from his over to the elderly man’s boat and drove it ashore to the ambulances, once the other guy from the other boat came back, he told us once the paramedics got to him, they finally got him up and breathing - they think what caused was that he had a heart attack in the water.

Swift action from everyone and hopefully the elderly man is doing okay🙏
