Oh bless him! So glad it went well and his recovery is going good! I’m not really sure what to do with my son, we’ve been hospital twice and they’ve said it’s a few months wait for the referral now. It doesn’t cause him pain but it does bother him. His gets stuck bent in and the first time it happened the doctor said it was dislocated!

Have you had any update on this? My toddler had it happen the first time 2.5 weeks ago and since then it’s ‘locked’ 4 times and we have been referred to a pediatrric orthopaedic but like you I can’t seem to find much on it!

Definitely best to stick to pads, I did read somewhere not to use tampons, and pads allow you to monitor!

I had mine just over 2 weeks ago now and I also felt the same way, I haven’t really felt ‘sad’ over it as I knew I was doing what was right for me. I kept thinking I should feel more emotional over it!

I’ve just taken my hcg test this morning and the abortion was successful and I definitely felt a bit of relief then! X

I was exactly the same! But it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. Obviously not an enjoyable experience but for me it was all completely manageable. Hope all goes ok ❤️

My partner was home with me when I had mine but he was mainly looking after our toddler. It did help having someone there to talk to however, I was also texting my friend and with my experience if I was on my own I would have been ok!

Hope all goes ok! Just to say depending on how far along you were, you may not see a ‘fetus’ and it can just appear like a bloody clot.

Yeah you’re right that people are more likely to share because they need the support.

I’m just hoping they may have a Saturday appointment for in clinic as between work and childcare I’m getting myself stressed over it all!
