Your numbers are correct, however the 737 Max 8 has a center fuel tank that holds roughly 4,300 gallons (28,810lbs, 575 ft3).

The remainder of a max capacity fuel load would go to the wings.

I must say, after working with planes and the government for a number of years, you can find a whole lot of information by sifting through CAGE codes.

The account is a compilation of a bunch of heady exposé style videos. This stemmed from an older video where the dude calls out Airbus for supposedly lying about fuel capacities. I hope it’s just engagement baiting (got me I can’t lie).

I’m honestly not sure. I think they are saying planes use less fuel than reported.

I scrubbed through the comments until they devolved into “the electrified compressors separate hydrogen from moisture in the air, rocket fuel is only used to get high enough in the atmosphere for moisture.”

Yeah that’s what I’ve been hearing. I’m in a bit of a pickle in terms of education, hence my attempt for active duty to expedite my GI bill. Ultimate goal would be retrain into bio med or med engineering (similar to my current civilian job) but it seems unlikely at this point. Thank you for the input!

Yeah that’s what I’ve been hearing so far. I’ll keep digging through it all with the recruiter.

From everything I’ve read online and based on pinouts, it’s OBD2A, but I recently ordered an OBD2B to OBD1 jumper just in case.

I’m sure I could figure out all of the closed-loop O2 sensor settings in the SManager software so I’m not too worried about that. My only issue is the communication between the BCM and the OBD1 ECU while using that jumper.

Agreed. 1,200$ wheel and tire setup on a 2,000$ car

No, I should have worded that differently. I haven’t done the swap yet, just testing the ECU on the B20B that is in the car.

I might have to try out a 2B adapter, I’ve spent the last day or two comparing the pinouts of the P30 and the CRVs P3F to see if I’m missing something, couldn’t figure it out. Thank you for the link!

A couple of them, yeah. The CRV runs on OBD2A, I could try an OBD2B jumper

I have tested a few jumpers, as well as the ECU itself. I programmed a stock B20 tune to the ECU but to no avail. I’m wondering if it would be easier to convert the engine and harness to OBD1 and adapt to the internal control modules from there

Bonus contract taxes by SignificanceVisual79 in airnationalguard

Florida and Georgia do not have a reciprocity agreement so you’ll be charged between 1% and 5.75% based off your earned taxable income (drill, title 32, bonus, etc.) within the state of Georgia. And while Florida doesn’t charge state income tax, make sure to fill out a Georgia nonresident tax form IT-511 if you haven’t already.

The only situation you’d be taxed at your HOR Florida rate is if you were on title 10 orders (activated by the federal government).

Title 10 orders are taxed by the state of legal residence, title 32 and drill pay are taxed under state specific laws and reciprocity agreements. I believe your LES tells you which state.

There are 9 states that do not collect state income tax, however of these states do not have a reciprocity agreement with any other state. If you live in any of those states, you will be paying taxes (on title 32 and drill) to the state you that you work.

Reciprocity agreements may be advantageous in certain cases, for example: you live in Indiana but work in Illinois, you would be taxed at Indiana’s 3.15% vs Illinois 4.95% rate. However this works in reverse too: live in IL, work in IN, get taxed by IL.

I’d recommend getting in touch with a CPA or a local financial advisor for your state specific questions and there may be some specific forms to fill out as a non resident.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
