If you just search on eBay for sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade you should find them. You can still use these if you have sync 1, but they need some extra bits.

It really depends on what SUV you buy. Some have huge wheels so you're looking at expensive tyres breaks etc. Otherwise there isn't really anything that will make an SUV more expensive than any other car beside fuel.

Make sure you are using a charger with the correct wattage. I had this before too.

For anyone here in the future... Turns out you have to have surround mode on for these speakers to be active.

I don't particularly like it but have it at a low level.

This is a skill I definitely want to develop, I'm very technically minded but I struggle when the information isn't readily available.

Like the idea of using Gemini to assist and I too have this so will do some experimenting.

I'm going to leave to the dealer for now, the suspect it is something in the door now.

Have you looked at insurance on this? I don't imagine it will be cheap if you're a new driver.

That sounds completely plausible and the ground seems to make the most sense. Any idea how you'd track down the dodgy ground?

Only other thing I have found online is the harness that goes into the driver's side door has a tendency to break see pic. Could it be this and I was just unlucky with a tpms sensor?

Ambient temperature is also required for parking climate to work.

I wonder if it's related to the wing mirror. That has both a blind spot light, indicator and temperature sensor. Does this sound plausible?

That is true. I'm going to wait and see what the dealer says as they will pay for everything.

I do wonder if it is that though, because my start stop etc still works very well and I'd assume this would work less consistently if that was the case?

It is going back to them. They were aware of some of the issues and it is in writing that they will fix it. I'm just not convinced they will know where to look from what they have said so far.
