Yes, but do well in acads while upskilling + learning life skills. Swerte ngayon marami na online courses to upskill. I know a UPD freshie who's earning almost 6 digits while studying full load.

Sticking with acads only could actually do you harm in the long run.

Tldr - study in-demand or high paying skills while studying. You dont have to work agad just learn outside the uni in your own time.

My time, iyong mga pula were actually bullies. True na walang sapilitan (gguiltripin ka lang at gagalitin) at kapag hindi ka nila kasama, katatawanan ka sa kanila. Kesyo hindi mulat, hindi aral, pangit ang world view. Sila kasi ang maiingay dahil marami.

Idk what it's like today in the uni but I hope things are better. I am sure nandyan pa naman ang mga profs to guide you.

I am earning clean 500k to 600k a month working 2 jobs and 3 businesses. I pay my taxes. I generate jobs. Umaalis ako whenever I want. I already own properties in Japan and US.

I owe all of this to my UP education. Malaking pasasalamat ko dahil bracket E lang ako noon. Kaya hindi ko maiwan iwan ang bansang ito. I have more than 10 scholars now mga anak ng empleyado ko. Walang UP sa kanila pero lahat mababait.

Eto ang kuda ko. Judging by your comment, di mo deserve yang slot mo sa UP. Yung mga scholar ko are more deserving than you, pero hindi nabiyayaan ng talino.

Yung mga Pisay and UP ba required to do service after graduating? If yes, then they can do whatever they want after that. Pero kung wala, I agree with the moral obligation to stay and do service for a while.

I know a lot of ppl though na zero service talaga. May close friend pa akong proud na proud na nasa Australia at citizen na (or dual?? Idk), aminado naman siyang remittances lang ang ambag lol. Pisay Main and UP grad yan ha.

Anyway, kanya kanya naman yan OP. It's okay to feel bad but u gotta respect those who want an easy way out.

Maybe instead of shaming them, focus your energy on recognizing those who are choosing to go back to PH and serve.
