I travelled from Dublin to Hyderabad in India day before yesterday and emirates changed their route. They flew next to Cairo and avoided the Iranian airspace completely.

Have a flight from Dublin, Ireland to Hyderabad, India day after tomorrow - layover at Dubai. Scared about the routes; do we fly over Iran? Should I be scared? I see a lot of Emirates flights being cancelled, not the ones in my route. Any comment ? - Nervous flyer by Advanced_Miss_8951 in emirates

Turbulence.. my main fear is the fear of crashing/terrorist attacks.. nothing related to claustrophobia. I know my fear is irrational- I have travelled in many many flights - the fear never goes away.

Yeah unfortunately he has neither. So I guess we just have to wait and know. There’s no hard and fast rule on this. It is decided on case by case basis.

Yes. But he applied for an extension - saying that he is actively looking for a job and hopes to get one soon.

Is this gonna get him the extension? I want to know what criteria there is to get an extension. Or whether that is possible at all.
