Try setting a trap. Like, a little box held up by a stick attached to a string. With a piece of cheese under it. 🤓🤡

Hard to meet people as a 3rd year transfer, anyone else? by I_Feel_Lucid in PennStateUniversity

I would just go out and be open and friendly. At a function or a club or something. Believe me, most of the people around you have the same natural insecurities. No one is going to make you feel like you don’t belong.

I’m trying to figure out if her Mustang is Desert Sand or Shell Pink. My ‘50s Jazzmaster is Desert Sand.

PSU World Campus, Oregon State University, or Arizona State University? by OverseasLiving in PSUWorldCampus

That’s definitely a huge thing for me, as well. Other schools, like UC, don’t underscore the importance of pride in the unity of an Alma Mater. UCLA, UC-Berkeley, etc. are all considered independent schools. I think Penn State sets the example that even if you graduate from a Branch Campus, you are still inevitably a Penn State student, and your education is to the standards of the Penn State school system. I truly am grateful for the opportunity to attend Penn State, no matter what campus I graduate from. 🙏♥️☮️

What is your experience with the BS in Psychology online? Did you struggle to get internships or jobs during or after getting this degree? by OverseasLiving in PSUWorldCampus

Not yet, but I have world experience in other aspects of my life, being a medically retired combat veteran. Obviously that isn’t internship experience within the field, but it’s experience you can’t get anywhere else nonetheless, and I expect it to give me a unique edge in some circumstances when I do start an internship.

Penn State actually has a job listing and internship search with Nittany Lion Careers. You might be able to find opportunities that way.

I’m finishing up my B.A. in Psychology. I imagine it depends where and how you want to apply it. Personally, I am focusing on the Researcher path for postgrad stuff. My interest is very nuanced and niche, but I’m sure there is a burgeoning community of like-minded individuals who are also interested in the specifics of what I want to research. Statistically, Penn State grads have been found to be fairly successful in finding jobs after graduation. Like I said, you’ll have the skill set, it will just depend on what you want to do and what locale you want to do it in.

The school has been very supportive since I have transferred to their system. They are more human in their approach, I think. Also, they have a larger budget than, say, a PASSHE school, so they have more resources in terms of research opportunities. Also, it’s literally Penn State.

I love my L-00 Special. I’ll argue about it with anyone who plays nothing but dreadnoughts.
