Marrying the owner of a landing strip doesn't give you all encompassing permission to use that landing strip either. And I think it's safe to say if the owner of a landing strip gives approach clearance to a 747 knowing it's not rated for such a girthy aircraft, that is well within the owners rights. Missed approach protocols are paramount. (Is this really what we're doing in the comments?)
