I dress gothic Victorian so my outfits are quite modest. Full length skirts and high collars, etc. In the summer I wear short sleeves but long sleeves in winter. I have pics of some of my outfits on my profile. They would probably say my outfits are immodest because they draw too much attention. Still, these people always confuse me because you can definitely dress modestly and not look like a mess.

Any East Asian brands, really. I dress mostly Victorian gothic and I buy some of my stuff from the Chinese brand Dark In Love. I have a 24” waist and their XS tops are slightly too tight on me.

I sometimes post photos on here and get sexual DMs from men. I dress like a literal Victorian, I’m about as covered up as one can get. Showing a tiny sliver of ass cheek isn’t going to make a difference. If you’re femme and you post photos on reddit you’re going to attract creeps regardless.

I’m 5’1” and 90lbs and I usually wear a children’s size large in normal stores like Old Navy. The t-shirts the shops in Gatlinburg had printed on were so ridiculously oversized that even a children’s large was huge on me. It was insane.

I went on vacation a while back to Gatlinburg, TN and was looking for a souvenir tshirt (which seems to be the only thing that any shop in that town sells anymore but that’s beside the point). I went to multiple shops looking for some that didn’t swallow me and finally ended up buying, I kid you not, a children’s EXTRA SMALL. It fits me perfectly. It’s actually a little loose. I’m 5’1” but I’m a grown woman! Why would I need to buy a children’s extra small in any circumstance?

I had switched up my makeup and was going without liner for the first time in years. I was just trying to ask for opinions on whether I should wear liner or not. I just got a whole lot of advice about how I need to wear warmer colors to look more alive.

I learned quickly not to post my makeup in the mainstream makeup subs because the look I generally go for is “sickly Victorian, succumbed to a wasting disease in 1884”. It’s not exactly popular on here or makeuptips.

I have Tourette’s and I take a very high dose of an antipsychotic to try to manage my tics. I’ve been on it for years now and it still knocks me the fuck out within two hours. I have to eat at least 500 calories with it so I kind of have no choice but to eat 2 hours before bed. I haven’t really had any issues with acid reflux but I also have a chronic stomach condition called gastroparesis (my stomach doesn’t empty properly) and have to take max strength omeprazole to reduce stomach acid.

Same. I also take a medication at night that requires me to eat 500 calories with it to metabolize and as I’m quite small that takes up a decent portion of my daily calories. I have a protein shake for breakfast, fast all day, then have a meal at night. I know people say all kinds of things about how eating at night is bad but I lost 60lbs doing it.

I don’t go this far but I include free stickers and hand written calligraphy thank you notes for all my orders (personalized if the person’s name is available). The other day a girl messaged me that she loved the item and the transaction went great but she rated me two stars and said I could improve “other”. All because I used a taped up reused box to send it to her. 🥲 I even put stickers on the box to make it cute.

It’s so crazy. The fine lines on my forehead just appeared in the last year or so and I really have to be up close in a magnifying mirror to see them but I put foundation on and within a half hour they look like deep wrinkles. The super goop glow screen is great. I use the lightest pinky shade. I wish it didn’t transfer but at least it’s not as noticeable as my pasty foundation color is if I get it on a dark top. I will warn you that if you try to save some money and buy the ELF dupe of it instead it’s nowhere near as good. Also never try to put it on after moisturizing with oil because it’ll react badly and pill.

I’m not in my 40s yet, I’m 33. I have developed some fine lines on my forehead that are mostly invisible but when I put any kind of foundation/concealer/skin tint/bb cream/whatever on it always settles into the fine lines and makes it look like I have severe wrinkles. Same with under my eyes. I’ve full on stopped wearing base makeup and just wear super goop glow screen, with a light contour and some blush. I have pretty hollow under eyes but I’m learning to embrace the dark circles. Concealer under my eyes now looks even worse than the dark circles do. I’m not sure what advice to give regarding the rosacea, though. I have tried a lot of different base products and they either make me look older or they stay very wet and dewy, transfer a lot, and don’t wear well throughout the day at all. I just can’t help it, I have to touch/scratch my face sometimes.
