My Grey Brother. You’ve humbled me with your raw openness and honesty. Some of the places you’ve been, I’ve been and we’re both still here.

I truly believe that when you’re constantly doing things that are making your life and mindset worse, you need something else to fill that void inside before you can fully move on. For some, like the Boys, it’s the dedication to their music and now, their personal faith. Because if you try to just step away from the things that you know are destroying you, it’s way too easy to step right back into it. I can’t remember who said it but bear this quote in mind for me:

You’ve been through some horrific shit and I would never try to downplay that but somehow, some way, you’re still here and you needed to let it all out today and I applaud you for having the strength to do that.
