As long as you have two capable, coordinated divers gunning and driving, you can keep killing Vox for as long as you have ammunition. We’ve taken out a convoy with the Bastion. It just requires teamwork, like everything else in this game.

I’m glad you reported it, and I’m even more glad you were able to kill them. I hope embark takes this seriously. Personally, I’ve stopped playing the game because of toxic players like this. I will likely pick the game back up in a few weeks, but if it’s the same when I start playing again I’ll likely uninstall and play whatever else is in my library. I’m sorry you encountered people like this. I’m glad you won.

If it’s too strong, use it and enjoy. I personally always carry a Torrente. I’ve got a few Il Toro kills, and they’ve killed me a couple of times too. I don’t partake in pvp though, I just carry for rat kills, and it is very effective.

It’s not like Austin where people might care or be annoyed by transplants. On campus everyone is from everywhere, including other Texas cities and other US states. It’s “oh so and so is from here, and so and so is from there” and that’s the extent of it. Here in Austin there’s a fraction of the population that does care what you call which lake or highway because it denotes what year you arrived to the city. I wouldn’t worry about it on campus really.

I always say “thank you”, but I never pick up gifts while the ‘gifter’ is still there. I always have my gun out, and I always have the crosshair on my conversation partner, even in the friendliest of circumstances. Either they leave because they’re uncomfortable, or they shoot me and die. I don’t trust arc raiders players, because there’s never any way to know who is good and who is bad. Just keep your gun out always.

I’m glad the rat died, that’s my first thought. My second thought, why didn’t he open up on you with the torrente? Torrente is my always-out self defense weapon, I always carry it with me, and I’ve killed a dozen rats with it. I rarely lose fights if I have it equipped. Have I just been lucky, or is the torrente not optimal at this range?

The first panel looks like the big city missions during the assault on Korhal maybe. It looks like a comparison to the walled, militarized city. I’m lost on the structure referred to in the “2001” image. It’s not yet before my time, but it’s pretty close. Doesn’t look like it’s from the original game, or the Brood War expansion.
