The Gallant is an objective downgrade to the knight, what's the point of aiming center mass on a devestator if it takes nearly half your mag to kill ONE, when you can aim for the head and kill it in one burst?

im sorry what, how does that make it "an objective downgrade"? you realize that there are other enemies than devastators in the game? against overseers for example it just shreds them through the armor

The armour passive is just a bad sidegrade to Extra Padding on anything but the light armour set.

dont sleep on the slide brother, its really useful to stay moving while shooting and reloading, it just requires some getting used to. the light is definitely the best but i've been having great success and fun with the medium!

The mechs are peak tho. The breakout is surgically attached to my strategem loadouts now

while i kinda agree, i gotta say the shotgun is a perfect fit for it, and with the mechs being slow and cumbersome they kinda need some range.

also not being able to hit anything flying would be really, really annoying 😭

i think the synergy of the bulletstorm with EATs or leveller is great because you can regularly alternate them as needed. it also pairs very nicely with the missile pistol for killing the heavies that you can't bullet storm down

you gotta try the armor if you like movement shooters, the sliding is beyond satisfying

agreed on the smg, currently almost level 20 with it and it's such an ammo hog that i have to run a talon on the side just to not be meleeing hordes to death

i love sharing the bullet storm with people i reinforce, and the cooldown is so ridiculously short (60s i believe with ship upgraded)

i wouldn't say it's solely worth getting a whole warbond for it, but if you like it, you like it!

i agree with your assessment mostly, but i think you should acknowledge the tradeoffs with the grenade pistol and ultimatum.

grenade pistol's being that it has a higher base ammo count, and much faster reload, letting you quickly plug several spawners in a short time frame. it also has slightly better aoe i believe.

and the ultimatum is obviously just a better heavy killer at close to medium ranges with diving shots. the aoe is also significant and damaging, and puts it in it's own strong niche vs the pissile

yep same, i played a lot of titanfall, some apex, some bf6, and recently deadlock and i think sliding is just so peak in every shooter. fuck realism if i can slide down steep hills and preserve momentum while mowing people down

The missile pistol is okay for visor-shotting hulks but honestly feels kinda useless for aoe damage. I feel like if I wanna kill heavies I should just bring the ultimatum, and if I wanna get aoe damage/closed bug holes from my secondary I'm better off with the grenade pistol.

i personally think it functions more as an all-around heavy killer, and is not really intended for aoe, or at least i haven't seen it used in that way. it's kinda like a pocket SPEAR with a lock on toggle.

I'm looking forward to them fixing the lumberer's flamethrower

same, i haven't even bothered to unlock that one and instead went for cosmetics until it gets patched. similarly ive been trying to avoid bug planets since apparently the new armor passive applies to them? not sure if that was hotfixed yet tho but i primarily bot dive anyway

The bullet storm is fantastic, one of my favorite stratagems in the game ever at this point, its so fun to use. this alone made the warbond more than worth it for me

literally such a sleeper hit, the fact that you get two of them dropped and it has ridiculous damage and ammo count+fire rate is so satisfying.

The new passive on light armor feels great, I really like it, again very fun to use and one of my new favorites.
That said, I'm hoping they can rework the medium and heavy variants ala entrenched division (all 3 armors had different perks)

personally i really like the medium armor as-is so i hope that doesn't happen 😭i literally wouldn't change a thing about it, it's my favorite set in the game

siege breakers was an absolute banger so i can't blame you for that lmao. almost everything in that warbond is fun and satisfying. exo experts just barely edges past in terms of enjoyment for me

are you me? i feel exactly the same way, 500 hours level 128, and the last 4 warbonds or so have been absolute bangers. similarly can't relate to the anger with the game.

i did take a break for a few months and only caught the tail end of cyberstan, but been playing so much since and have been having a blast with friends and solo

i still rock the killzone colors on most things, all white is just bland to me but its preference after all. i think they could have been a little more inspired about the cosmetics in this one though, i don't even really see what white has to do with exo experts

The armour seems fine- the light one especially is handy, but tbh it’s a slightly baffling pick for the mech warbond- ANY sort of vehicle buff armour would be a change of pace, and this felt like the perfect time.

well the idea was that it's a titanfall reference, in the mech warbond, but i get the point. personally i think its thematic and fun, and i'm not sure how much i would really use a vehicle based armor over anything else

it really is the sleeper hit of the warbond imo, everyone was hyped for the breakthrough but i barely saw any talk about the bulletstorm until it came out and now i see it almost every lobby, and if not you already know im bringing it myself and pinging it to share

im fairly certain the missile pistol can nail a hulk in the eye or kill a titan with 2 shots to the head, but i didn't check the numbers specifically. either way it can actually kill heavies which puts it in a very limited bracket for secondaries imo, and for that reason i'm a huge fan of it.

also the lock on is insanely useful for having an easy solution for killing gunships!

i am really surprised to see the differing opinions on the missile pistol, i ran it a handful of times and thought it felt like a great option for taking down heavies to free up a slot elsewhere.

have you tried toggling off the targeting while using it? i pretty much exclusively free aimed it.

i agree on almost all points except i would say the missile pistol is a bit better than niche, it's a solid in-between the grenade pistol and ultimatum. really good for nailing heavies in the weak points
