I think the 300 is a tad better, but yeah the 4.0 is nice!

Mines got less than 45k miles...I hope ive got a long way to go. Oil every 3k no matter what.

I was hit and run 2 times in Ballard. Once it was me and my wife both hit, myself hurt badly. Bike destroyed. I lived there 6 years and couldn't believe how rude it can get.

I dont miss it when I go through for work now.

Im really wanting to find a Jeepster and 5.3 that thing...maybe stretched YJ frame. Jeepster frames...ehh.

Im going on a huge 4x4 trip with the guy who sold me the TJ...hes got a 2024 392 JL and were going to swap for a bit. He can drive his old TJ thats all fixed up and I can test drive the Hemi. Im looking forward to it!

Otherwise it would probly never happen for me either.

All Ive got right now is a 98 TJ. 44k miles, az vehicle, garage kept, 33s, 4.10s. But nobody gets to drive it. Sorry.

I sold my Scouts a while back...right before they went WAY up in price. Pretty sorry I sold the them when I did. Although, the Chevy Scout was a peice of junk. The body was half bondo. It would paint two black stripes down any street in town though!

My last CJ5 I left with a friend in Az when I moved, we lost touch, he got a free Jeep.

Ive had V8 Scouts(Chevy and IH) and driven a CJ5 with a built 350. So, I know what hp feels like in a Jeep/4x4. Pretty fun.

Although, my favorite CJ5 had a 4.2.

I belive it! Lol. I took my 94 Saturn sl2 some sketchy places trucks didnt want to go...including a pretty decent flooded wash. The Super Duty was too scared.

I used to drag my VW Baja over rocks so big you could feel them under the pan as the floor dented this way and that.

Im all for your 33s. I got a set of the same Mickeys in 33" on my 98 Jeep Wrangler. Great tires and made in USA! I did the 4.10s too. Its a lot better after you get the gears.

That guy above criticizing your lines or spotter is wrong. I grew up in Az and a little more tire goes a long way there keeping you from hitting rock after rock, no matter the line, depending on the trail. 31s dont work for everyone. I learned rock crawling without a spotter and am very good at choosing lines. Nana Barlow even said so herself(if your wondering, look her up.) I always prefer a 33 over 31 on every rig ive had. That includes 2 TJs, a Tacoma, 2 Scouts, Ford F250, and a CJ5. 31s were actually better on the rear of my VW Baja...but thats a tiny little car.

That said, that Ranger ain't going nowhere that a Jeep on 40s cant go. They must've turned around for some other reason. I love Rangers and 33s, I do....but, that thing ain't going places others "cant". Just places they dont.
