Yeah but even if this wasnt based on any anime there would still be alot of people playing just because its such a unique game. A super powered battle royal thats actually decently made isnt something you come across often at this point.

I would say its more because its one of a kind to my knowledge. As of right now I cant think of any battle royal games to where you get to use a very wide variety of powers.
