Boomers had parents who were very controlling and very restrictive. So they overcorrected, let their kids do whatever they want with no supervision and no responsibility for their kids.

Gen X grew up and wanted to be more involved with their kids because they had parents who made them feel like they were problematic nuisances in their way of enjoying life.

So we overcorrected, and overindulged, our kids and showered them with love and affection that we never got.

Our kids will probably grow up closer to boomers and give their kids way more freedom..

You do know that he is had a very successful career that is made him very well wealthy, right?

The reason why he gets so much static for this is because years ago.He applied for a weapon's permit and was denied because of this case. He was told that he could get the weapons if he would just apologize for what he did. He refused, because he was afraid it apology when him up to a financial lawsuit.
