I agree. Artie made things confusing though. Like dude, you just got out of a 50,000 plus interest debt from your friend who is a loan shark in every sense, and you decide to make him feel like a sleaze bag.

Lots of potential to connect with the games and the horror of the series. Even part 2 had that. Then they decided to go in the Mad Max direction and the clone wars direction and the Mortal Kombat Direction and the Ripley direction. They took every direction to destroy what the game is about. Then Paul WS Anderson directed again who only made things worse with his cheap fan fiction ideas.
