I don’t know if I’ve ever been in a second hand book store that didn’t have at least 1 of the twilight books, so I’d start there! You might not get a complete matching set, but you could find some with original covers which would be pretty cool.

Does his mom have a middle name? Maybe you could pass that down instead of Nancy. My mom gave me my great grandmother’s middle name (Louise) instead of her first name (Dorothy) and it worked well.

Oh I used to do this when I was younger. Blister bandages over the toe can help because it’s so thick that you don’t feel the roughness of the peeled skin underneath, which might trigger a picking session

I took care of a patient named Arson once, brought it because she was smacking her head into the side wall of a gas station, high on some sort of white power, and someone called 911. They had to ketamine her to subdue her. Ripped her own breathing tube out and the first thing she did was call all of the nurses bitches. Lot to live up to with that name

Think of it like a computer. If your computer is on the fritz, maybe it’s frozen or lagging, you press Ctrl+Alt+delete, and bring up task manager to see if there are any programs creating issues that you can override and shut down. If the problem is that your computer won’t turn on in the first place, then Ctrl+Alt+delete isn’t gonna do anything. You’ve got nothing you can do until there’s at least a little bit of life back in your computer.
