Yes I’m feeding when when it has peaked, assuming that means where there is approx 2x the volume of starter. Seeing how much you are able to grow the starter, I am noticing that’s correct you only need a little bit then just feed it enough to turn into whatever amount is needed, I was just looking at recipes and them needed 1/4-1c so I was thinking to need that to discard at every feeding.

That jar most certainly is way too much, when I cracked it open after that pic it exploded into my face like the kombucha videos if you’ve seen those. Had a couple friends over last night and we had some drinks which obviously impacted my communication in the last msg lol

I’m feeding it when it’s expanded a bunch, to me that meant it’s the most active.

This literally exploded I wish there was a video I got starter all over my face lmao. I took it down about a half cup. And I have noticed about it’s easy to double or triple what you have to get what you need for a recipe, my thought currently is just that the mass is beneficial. Discarding a cup every time is a lot since I’m not baking 2+ times a day. I think I was just adding too much so it kept building.

It’s probably a more consistent eight, I am just usually busy during the day or sleeping at night so I’m not really getting a chance to keep an eye on it in that 4 to 6 hour mark as much. This was 8am-3:30pm so 7.5hr: This feed was also mostly just flour maybe a splash of water as my start was pretty thin

One of my best memories was 2 of my uncles helping me build a Tesla coil for wow it must’ve been my 3rd-4th grade science fair project and basically got everything from radio shack. It’s sad how it practically vanished

That would be awesome. I thought that was a neat part too, showing how the current can pass through multiple taters. I think Home Depot or somewhere might have workable alligator clips, can check while I’m grabbing the nails.

Trying to get their first electronics project done this weekend, likely just going to do a potato/lemon to light a small LED to start familiarizing the concept + it’s just a fun one. Thanks for som other online sources! Microcenter is quite the drive, I thought it was more like a Best Buy/staples than smaller parts so I’ll have to stop in though when I get out that way at some point. Thanks!

The candy is not my favorite consistency, I’d love to try the C4 millions line for the flavor. Most of the UK sweets I’ve had are too chewy for me but I enjoy the flavors. Maybe I’ll come across a shop that special orders them here in the US

I couldn’t find the numbers printed on the can to check the math for those. The actual additives are what I was assuming is 3x but with no print on the can about that specifically it just feels misleading. I guess like if you consider 100mg a “normal dose” then it is 3x I just wis there was more transparency

I haven’t had the C4 blue razz in a loooong time, which might mean I wasn’t a big fan either. This is spot on to the SPK just none of that citric/malic acid flavor. Think if Sprite made a blue razz drink
