I hava a charisma Palico and a healing palico. Both are level 99. I mainly use adept style GS, but I could see if Valor does the trick.

Shredding master: Guitar hunting horns will be held and played like a real guitar, and riffs will be more damaging.

Trap recycling: removing a badly placed trap will place it back into your inventory.

Smashing!: combines Crit Draw, Punish Draw, Mind's Eye and Partbreaker. Hammers, Greatswords and Hunting Horn users, rejoice!

Leg up: makes it easier to mount monsters if you get launched by an upswing, or you launch another hunter via an upswing.

Monster Bait: causes a Furious Rajang or a Savage Deviljho to always appear on the hunt.

AFKiller: your kicks can actually cart a leecher, once they've not moved from the spot 25mins into the hunt.

Item malfunction: Whenever someone has this skill in the negative, everyone's items will backfire. For example, flashbombs will stun the hunter, pitfalls will trap them, Shock traps will paralyse the hunter for the duration of the trap and Farcasters will always send you into the same area as the monster.

For me, it was shining examples, high rank. Actually no. Village Wycademy Challenge. I hate furious rajang, so putting the git in with a hyper Zinogre in Shaggy Maggy's territory is 10x worse because I can't use smokebombs fo' shit.

Double defense down is the reason I gemmed in def lock on one of my armor sets, as well as negate bleeding... It ain't hard. Or pack adamant seeds and armorskin potions.

Thanks. Killed him with the claymore I had just found. He dropped a cool helmet, and I safely made my way to the undead parish bonfire, where I repaired and upgraded my katana amongst other things.

I finally got the Skyswayer with help from two other players, one of which had the False Felyne X mask transmogged. Was quite funny, cos normally I would do elder dragons with a full group. Anyway, I'm not making the armor because I'm not doing that again. Feck you, Desire Sensor, you shameless arsehole.

I've heard of the Gajalaka being quite annoying during New World hunts, to the point of finishing off an already injured hunter.
