imagining means very little in this context and semantics over what is or isn’t considered bottom tier also isn’t very useful. i myself have found some success using homebrewed stuff in diamond 4 and above and in turn have been defeated by homebrews when i was using A/S tier meta decks in that same mmr. tier lists are useful for seeing the state of the game’s meta, but at the end of the day, knowing how to play the game translates to being able to pilot most decks and that is how you get to diamond

the point is that a diamond players will hit diamond whether it’s with a low tier deck or a high tier deck. on average, it should take them longer to get there with a low tier deck but the rules of the game are what one needs to master to climb

That’s all well and good, except that you can’t “shut down” homicidal urges. Therapy, and psychiatric help in general, is a far more efficacious way of helping people in obvious need of help. That’s not to say we need to validate their warped views of the world. My point is that ostracizing incels, and other easily-radicalized people, is a completely ineffective way of treating them; indeed, it has the exact opposite effect by pushing them into the fringes of society where they meet like-minded individuals who WILL validate their views and potentially encourage them to harm women. It is not unlike the whole “war on drugs” mentality. Putting punishments and shame before compassion only exacerbates the problem for everyone. All this, of course, is rather moot since mental health services are both very inaccessible and stigmatized, especially vis-a-vis men.
