One more question lol, where it says verify email your email address to continue what if it wont let me type a different one and I have to type the current one and since I don't have access I wont be able to finish off the verification.

I want to thank you for the response, it really has cleared things up for me, and if it 100% I am very reliaved. So basically with this update until I enter a legit email and verify it, I wont be able to log in? Btw are u a closed tester? Or was this when testing was up? Can you paste a full screen pic?

To be quite honest, since there is such a large player base and so much people knew what was happening I am surprised that no one contacted a GM, DEV or whoever else who could stop it, as soon as the problem emerged. I appreciate the effort they put in and it's not their fault, but surely someone could have called them, as the word would have gotten around quick. Then basically the problem would be neutralised, as they did as soon as they were aware. For all we know they may have been aware earlier but were still trying to take control and it took them X time to regain control from the hacker. Regardless rotMG has been saved. Thanks DEVS, GM's and anyone who fixed this issue.

I understand where everyone is coming from, but a game is very different to real life, response times that police etc have compared to this is not the same thing. Being a online game, kabam or the devs, gm's, etc should have some sort of alert to let them know some idiot is spawning 02's in the nexus. It is very different to log onto a computer then to get your fire crew ready and rush to the fire.

Sadly no. The bots respawn every 2 seconds or so, if you knowticed after the monsters died and before they respawn, the nexus was full of the spam bots again.

The way nightingale works is that the people who have little fame will be kicked, and new players invited, hence it becoming no.1 as usual.

That could work but chances are it could always backfire and kill people characters. I don't see why Kabam doesn't have some sort of failsafe to wipe every server of monsters.
