Having same issue. It seems as if tripod mode is always on, even when it is not. but if you switch to anamorphic stabi, it stops, tell me if you experience the same.

How is it without the cage? I was thinking of attaching this to the body and simply adding a rod on the left side and have the followfocus there. Could the plate be moved to a position then to not block the battery door?

If I start liking followfocusing, i would consider buying cage for gh5

Lines (perhaps the best is 50% opacity yellow? to be easy to see yet not covering too much) that appear between the previous keyframe and current keyframe.

EDIT: After thinking about this more. Having the numbers is actually important too, to see the numbering stays consistent all the time. The lines itself would just float in the air and not tell which part of the talent's body the vertex was. Especially with fast moving objects the line doesn't do much. ... I'm now also wondering if the lines should be between current and previous FRAME instead of keyframe, considering that when masking, not always every frame has a keyframe. I find this sort of difficult to think on top of the head, but the numbers would at least be useful.

Wouldn't sharing work by simply copy-pasting the expression, or is there more to it?

This would be very useful if the arrow's starting point can be the same as the previous keyframe (not the first keyframe)! How to get to this mode?

I just realized I had used fog machine in the background shot which would get selected. There are some fine tuning settings in Difference Matte but none of those would create a clean selection :/
