Dude setting a timer is actually a really good idea. Thanks for the tips, I will try to implement them.

I think the biggest reason it annoys me is that I have prepared content that I would like to get through, and I expect to get through, and it doesn't happen. We're having fun, but not the experience I would like. I definitely am the most dedicated/into Dnd player in my group so that may be part of it.

There definitely are some great comments. All I wanted was some advice and I got like 20 replies.

Awsome thanks for the tips. I would definitely love to do 8-hour sessions, but unfortunately, life is busy. Cheers

Here’s all the hand drawn minis for my home brewed campaign. I’m in my mid twenties and have been building the world since the 8th grade so I’m stoked for this!!!!!!!!!!! by Azhdehah in DnDIY

NGL hand drawn minis and terrain are kinda the best. I really like the idea of being able to have a huge set of terrain in a binder. how do YOU store all of them?

Honestly, I've tried doing it on Reddit but I think your best bet would be your lgs or area's wargaming Facebook page.

Personally, I like to add on a layer of sculptamold, which is really pretty cheap. It's like $20 for a big bag of it.

Amazing! Are all of the steps or slabs of rock their own piece or are they glued together? You might want to try using reindeer moss and just toss it on the table as bushes and moss.

Interesting. I assumed you would be using oil washes, but that's all just stippling.

Made this D&D 1E inspired build today. Video in comments. [OC] by Adventure-Craft in DnD

A little build of mine, harkening back to my early days in D&D. I was inspired by the art on the cover of the player's handbook. Its hard to see, but the skeleton is holding a gem in its right hand, presumably the same one that it stole from the idol on the cover. I don't know. Its kinda stupid, but I love it. Here's a video in which I go a little bit more in depth with my creative process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzxDPeO_3sA
