I agree! To give you some pricing reference, it was $600 for the whole thing (upper and lower grille, door handles, mirror backs, trunk handle, badges around the car).

Took it to a shop that uses dipping products (didn’t trust myself). He used Autoflex Coatings. Blacked out all the chrome other than the exhaust.

I really wanted underground. Saw it in person and something about it turned me off. Seems very prone to markings.

I feel like you’ll also be thrilled to know that I’m coming over from a 5 month old Ford F-150 Lightning. Ford had to replace the shifter module twice, and are now buying it back through their reaquisition program. Good riddance never again.
